Preface - 前言
It was an extraordinary trip, lasted 17 days, and over 10,000 kilometers. It was a event packed trip full of great memories. With a reasonable distance to drive each day, we have been to all the places we'd planned. We already backed to our ordinary life, but the wonderful memory will last for much longer.
As one of the Grand Canyon National park ranger puts it, the US national park is our backyard, and everyone is invited to explore it.
We'd like to extend it a bit more, our planet earth is our backyard, and let's keep exploring it and always find our way back to our own backyard. Yes, our home, our sweet home.

San Diego is really a nice city, we loved it right away when we arrived there. The seaport village behind our hotel was so nice and cozy, the art store was amazing, especially the crafted candle, we bought quite a few.
圣地亚哥是一个非常好的城市. 我们非常喜欢. 我们酒店后面的小海村很可爱. 里面有一个小店卖手工做的蜡烛很有艺术品味, 我们买了好几个.

National Parks - Grand Canyon 大峡谷
If we have chance to go to Grand Canyon again, then we will definitely hike down to the bottom of the Canyon, and camping overnights. We heard that watching the stars there is a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
如果我们有机会再去大峡谷, 我们一定要走到大峡谷的最下面去野营. 据说在那里看星星会是终生难忘的!

The drive from Death Valley to Yosemite National Park was so incredible. The elevation changed from ~200 feet below sea level to ~9900 feet above sea level, the view was so dramatically changing! You can see desert, lake, mountain with snow capped, and huge sequoia.
从死亡之谷开车到优胜美地, 一路上的海拔从低于海平面70米到高于海平面3000多米, 景色变化多端. 你能看到沙漠, 湖泊, 雪山, 和巨大的红杉树.
